Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8.45am-5.15pm
Tuesday 10am-5.15pm
Friday 8.45am-4.45pm

Should you wish to see a member of the Council Tax and Business Rate Office in person, there is no need to make an appointment. Simply visit the main reception at the council offices at Campus East during the hours shown above, and a member of staff will be happy to see you.

The aim and purpose of the council tax and business rates service is to collect the tax on behalf of ourselves, Hertfordshire County Council, Hertfordshire Police Authority and parish councils. We aim to make sure the service is accountable to you by putting customers first and making access to our service efficient, simple and convenient. 

To provide open, honest and clear communication to meet the needs of the community through the statutory administration, collection and recovery of Council Tax and Business Rates, whilst remaining within budget.
