Summer Public Meetings Feedback 2007
Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council held similar meetings last year. Each meeting focused on one of the Five Corporate Promises which are set out in ‘Welwyn Hatfield 2021’ – the Council’s corporate and community plan.
The dates and themes of each meeting were:
- Thursday 28 June - Focus on Community Safety
- Tuesday 3 July - Focus on the Environment
- Wednesday 11 July - Focus on Local Housing
- Monday 16 July - Focus on the Community
- Wednesday 25 July - Focus on Local Accountability
Residents who attended these meetings had the opportunity to raise local issues and priorities directly with Councillors and Officers. These were formally recorded and will be used to help shape the Council's new targets for 2008-09 under each of these Corporate Promises.
