The Standards Board for England
The Standards Board for England provides an independent, national overview of how local authorities promote and improve the ethical behaviour of their members
The Standards Board for England was established in March 2001 to look at the ethical behaviour of members who serve on local authorities and other public bodies.
It does not deal with staff who work in the authorities, only councillors, members or co-opted members who serve on them.
