Electoral Review
A review of the electoral arrangements for the borough has been completed by the Boundary Committee for England.
The Boundary Committee for England has completed the review of electoral arrangements for the Welwyn Hatfield Borough.
The final recommendations were published and submitted to the Electoral Commission on 26 June 2007 for consideration. As a result the Electoral Commission created Statutory Instrument 2008 No. 424 - The Borough of Welwyn Hatfield (Electoral Changes) Order 2008.
This divided the Borough into 17 wards and 48 Borough councillors were elected for all wards on 1 May 2008. You can view the outcome of these elections on the Elections Results web page.
