New logo for Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council

The winning design for the new logo for Welwyn Hatfield Council was unveiled at a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday 6 February.

Following a public consultation in November and December 2006, over 330 votes were received. The favoured design won by four votes.

Commenting on the consultation, Councillor Mark Gilding, Executive Member for Partnerships, Performance and Communications, said: “We are grateful to those people who expressed their views about the new logo designs. We hope residents are pleased with the winning design, which we feel better reflects the various aspects of our borough.
