Welwyn Hatfield's Children and Young People's Plan 2007-2008
The Children and Young People’s Plan is a single, inter-agency (partnership) strategy that covers services for all children and young people living in Welwyn Hatfield.
The outcomes we want to achieve in Welwyn Hatfield are built around the government’s five Every Child Matters outcomes:
- Being Healthy
- Staying Safe
- Enjoying & Achieving
- Achieving Economic Well-being
- Making a Positive Contribution
Welwyn Hatfield Children and Young People's Plan has been published in partnership with a number of agencies and voluntary organisations who make up the Welwyn Hatfield Children and Young People's Partnership. The role of the strategic partnership is to promote and develop multi agency working, whose services are for the benefit of children and young people of the district, ensuring that a good quality of life is maintained in all areas of safety, health, achieving, enjoyment, well being and contributing to the community.
Our 2007/08 plan is a workable planning tool, that helps to monitor progress towards reaching our key priorities. Therefore it will be constantly reviewed and revised through the forthcoming year.
Monitoring of activities and actions is by traffic light system. Comment is made about the action/activity as it progresses.
| RED | Action/activity not fulfilled or not progressing |
| AMBER | Action/activity is progressing |
| GREEN | Action/activity completed satisfactory or exceeded expectation |
