The ever popular Italian Market will return once again to Welwyn Garden City on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 September.
It will be located outside the main entrance of the Howard Centre and will be open from 9am until 5pm.
The market, organised by Welwyn Hatfield Council, will have more than a dozen stalls selling wine, cheeses, pasta, traditional cured meats, olives, olive oil, breads, pastries, pickles, confectionary and other delicious Italian produce.
There will be an added "va va voom" around town, as for the first time will be a display of retro-styled Vespa scooters. The bikes, which are also for sale, are supplied by Thompson's Scooters of St Albans.
Councillor Mandy Perkins, Executive Member for Planning and Environmental Health, said “The Italian Market always brings something different to the town centre, which is why it has established itself as one of the borough's favourites.
“It has proved really popular in previous years, with shoppers loving the authentic smells and tastes of Italy. I am sure that the market will again attract many visitors to Welwyn Garden City from the local and surrounding areas.”
