Public meeting information
The council and its partners host regular public meetings regarding the chalk mines in Briars Lane.
The last public meeting took place on 9 July 2007 at Roe Hill Hall, Hatfield. At the meeting local residents were briefed on the forthcoming remediation works at Briars Lane.
They were introduced to the selected remediation contractor and were provided with greater detail regarding the works to be carried out, the phasing of those works and how we intend to reduce the likely impact on the surrounding area.
