Environmental services - Out of hours emergencies
The Council does not currently operate a 24 hour call out service for environmental health complaints. An environmental health officer can be contacted in an emergency - for example, where there is an imminent risk of public safety.
- The council has taken the decision not to provide an out of hours environmental health service.
- Request for the service received outside of office hours will be dealt with the next working day.
- Public health emergencies where human lives are in danger can be reported to the council out of hours control centre on 0800 111 4484 who will be able to advice further.
