Smoke Free Hertfordshire
Where can you eat in a smoke free environment? Need help to give up smoking? Where can you get educational matter on not smoking?
Smoke Free Hertfordshire is an alliance of Hertfordshire organisations, funded by the Department of Health. We are working closely together to encourage a reduction in the prevalence of smoking through education and advice. The group works at both strategic and project level and includes work on exposure to tobacco smoke in the workplace and public places. By exchanging professional advice we promote good practice and support in a number of areas including the No Smoking Day campaign and the first Totally Smoke Free Eating Guide in the UK.
Members of Smoke Free Hertfordshire include all of the District and Borough Councils, Primary Care Trusts, Hertfordshire Cessation Service, Trading Standards and Hertfordshire County Council's Education Department.
