Assisted Collections
If you have difficulty placing your refuse or recycling boxes on the boundary please contact us.
Under certain circumstances we can arrange for a manager to visit you. Your needs will be assessed and if necessary we can offer you an assisted collection from a point agreeable to both parties.
To be eligible for the assisted list you must have a medical condition or something that prevents you from carrying your rubbish or recycling to the boundary yourself. For example:
- A disability;
- Heart condition;
- Impaired walking (for example, requiring a stick or frame);
- Severe asthma;
- Elderly and living alone; or,
- Elderly couple who both suffer from one of the above conditions.
