Clinical Household Waste
Clinical waste is any waste which poses a threat of infection to humans.
Examples of clinical waste include:
- Human or animal tissue;
- Blood or other bodily fluids;
- Excretions;
- Drugs or other pharmaceutical products;
- Swabs or dressings;
- Syringes, needles or other sharp instruments.
If you produce clinical waste please see your GP who can register you with the council for specialist collections. These are currently on a Wednesday.
