Enquiries regarding searches on Ground Leases are usually received by solicitors acting for potential purchasers and remortgaging companies.
The enquiries relate to:
- Ground Rents
- Breaches of Covenants
- Notice of Assignments
- Building Insurance
There are two levels of enquiry, which demand different fees for the provision of information:
If information can be provided from office held records, then the fee is £25.00 plus VAT.
If the enquiry requires a breach of covenant inspection of the property, this requires a site visit and the fee is £35.00 Plus VAT.
