Assisted collections

If you have difficulty placing your refuse or recycling boxes on the boundary please contact us.

Under certain circumstances we can arrange for a manager to visit you. Your needs will be assessed and if necessary we can offer you an assisted collection from a point agreeable to both parties. Please note, assistant collections will not be offered if someone else living in the household is able to place the rubbish on the boundary.

To be eligible for the assisted list you must have a long-term medical condition or something that prevents you from carrying your rubbish or recycling to the boundary yourself, including:

• a disability;
• heart condition; 
• impaired walking (for example, requiring a stick or frame);
• severe asthma;
• elderly and living alone; or,
• elderly couple who both suffer from one of the above conditions.
