The council has a target to pay all supplier invoices within 30 days of receipt (excluding disputed invoices). Payment runs are generally made each week but can be made at other times if necessary. The monthly report details all invoices over £500 paid to suppliers and external bodies for the period stated.

Between August and October 2012, residents were given the opportunity to have their say on how Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council should allocate its budget for 2013/14.

The council's finances are continuing to come under significant pressure. Our budget for 2013/14 is the third year in which we have had to find substantial savings.
