The Welwyn Hatfield Community Safety Partnership CSP is in place to make our community a safe place to live, work or study. The CSP is a statutory body under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998
Who belongs to the Community Safety Partnership?
The CSP works with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire, and the local Criminal Justice Board and is made up of representatives from around the Welwyn Hatfield district as well as county wide organisations. These include:
- Hertfordshire Constabulary
- Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service
- Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council
- Hertfordshire County Council
- East and North Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group
- National Probation Service
- BENCH Community Rehabilitation Company
- University of Hertfordshire

What does the Community Safety Partnership do?
