Parking Restriction Schemes

Parking Services Work Programme each year is decided by the council's Cabinet in each year.

Potential Parking Scheme

Welwyn Village

Consultation has begun regarding introducing double yellow lines in a number of locations; Codicote Road Hertford Road and School Lane.

Additional on-street restrictions are being proposed in a number of locations, this is at the design stage.

Once comments/suggestions have been analysed Parking Services will advise whether any of the schemes are to continue.


Gresley Close & Digswell Rise


Consultation is underway with Gresley Close and Digswell Rise and 2-4 Coneydale to be included within the AV resident parking permit scheme.


Bramble Road -Ellenbrook area


Bramble Road have been consulted on a number of options and once the results have been analysed residents will be informed how Parking Services are going to proceed.

Hatfield
(2-3 year project)


A parking Study has been conducted covering the majority of Hatfield in February 2012. Once the results have been analysed, Parking Services will present potential improvements to those residents/businesses that are directly affected.

As this is a large project Parking Services envisage that junction protection and possible waiting restrictions may be investigated within this financial year 2012/13

Knightsfield/Haldens

A parking study has been carried out in March 2012 in the residential roads near to Shire Park.

Once the results have been analysed consultation will begin with residents/businesses within the affected roads.

Dellsome Parade, Welham Green

Holloways Lane and surrounding roads

This area will not be addressed in 2011/12 work programme due to other consultations and the timescales attached to these. However, this will be added to 2012/13 work programme and hope to begin consultation in January 2013.
