Unique Party Experience!

It's party time at our wonderful working watermill

Children love coming to Mill Green Mill. Now they can have their very own party! Choose from:

Pizza Perfection 

Make your own yummy pizza and eat it hot from the oven. Grind your own flour with our mini stones and make your own miller's assistant name badge to take home.

Little Red Hen Playtime

Hear the story of Little Red Hen and her lazy friends. Make a badge, mask and a grain shaker to use while you bust some moves to the Little Red Hen Rap, shake that shaker!  Themed Party Games. 

Victorian Time Travellers

Dress in Victorian costume and have your photo taken. Be a Victorian servant, do the washing, no machine, just you! Have a go at making a Victorian style toy. Traditional parlour-style party games. 

Roman Soldiers

Dress as a Roman and make a Roman style sword. Handle real Roman objects and make a mosaic. Themed party games.

Room Hire only

If you would like to organise your own activities the space is available at £80 for up to 3 and a half hours.

Birthday party 1 Payment & Cancellation

The party packages above are charged at £15 per child, with a minimum fee of £150. Parties last for up to 2 hours and include room hire, staff costs, activities and basic party food tea.  Payment is due for the group upon arrival. Payment should be made by cheque, made payable to Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council. All children must be paid for, including siblings of the birthday child and siblings of the guests that stay for the party, unless they are under 2yrs old. The full party fee will be charged if less than 48 hours notice of cancellation is given regardless if the party is rescheduled.

Entertainers

We are happy for parents to bring along their own entertainers who could be accommodated within any of the party schedules above or used in conjunction with the room hire fee only.

Supervision

You should arrive 15 minutes prior to the party starting in good time to greet your guests.  Children must be supervised at all times by the adults with the group. Under six one adult to every five children, 6 years+ one adult to every eight children.
