  • FOI
    The Freedom of Information (FoI) Act enables you to access official information held by the council.
  • Equalities
    Welwyn Hatfield is committed to equality of opportunity, both as an employer and a service provider.
  • Magnifying glass
    The council's Internal Audit services are now provided by Shared Internal Audit Services (SIAS). This is a partnership arrangement led by Hertfordshire County Council. SIAS provides audit services to this council and four other district/borough councils.

  • Piggy bank
    This Pay Policy Statement is produced in accordance with Section 38 (1) of the Localism Act 2011 and takes into account statutory guidance issued. It was approved by the Full Council at its meeting on 6 February 2012. The statement sets out the Council's position on how it manages its senior manager's pay and that of its lowest paid workers, in line with the Localism Act 2011.
  • We are signed up to the Fair Trade movement and are committed to raising awareness and participation with the sale of Fair Trade goods.
