Refreshments and cream teas at Mill Green
Sunday afternoon cream teas are served at Mill Green from Easter Sunday to the last Sunday of September every year. You can also enjoy them on Bank Holiday Mondays during the summer season.
Sit in the riverside gardens and enjoy a delicious cream tea and locally made scones served by our friendly volunteers.
Serving times are from 2pm with last orders at 4.30pm. The museum closes at 5pm and is not open on Mondays (except Bank Holidays).
OTHER REFRESHMENTS
Hot and cold drinks are available from our high-quality Kenco machine from Tuesdays to Sundays all year round. We also sell a variety of cold drinks and biscuits in the shop.
PICNICS
Whenever the museum is open, you are welcome to bring a picnic to the gardens to share with family or friends. Why not take a quiet break from the busy worki ng day to enjoy the gardens in bloom.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO VOLUNTEER?
