The online database lists all planning applications and allows you to comment online.
The online database provides a comprehensive list of planning applications. It allows you to view the planning history of a site. It also allows you to view all current planning applications and comment online. Plans and drawings of many applications are also available.*
*Update 24th July 2008 - The problem displaying PDF files has now been resolved and therefore plans and drawings will be available from Friday 25th July. Please be aware that it may take a while before the backlog is cleared as the system has been down for a number of days. Many thanks.
The weekly lists of applications received are available, along with lists of recent decisions.
Planning Portal
If you would like to submit a planning application online go to the planning portal.
If you are unsure of the full address of the land or building you’d like the planning history of or would prefer to search on a map initially, the council's Interactive Map has a facility to identify the application number of recent planning proposals. Once you’ve identified the application number the online database will provide details of the scheme.
