Statement of Decisions
The Statement of Decisions sets out whether the council accepts, partially accepts or does not accept, the recommendations of the Inspector.
Accompanying the Statement of Decisions is a separate list of decisions where the council does not accept the Inspector's recommendations. This list also includes those decisions where the council accepts the Inspector's recommendation but, for reasons of clarity or to update the Plan, a further minor change is proposed.
Representations could be lodged against the Statement of Decisions only where the council accepted or only partially accepted a recommendation of the Planning Inspector.
Where the council accepted or partially accepted a recommendation by the Inspector, the proposed modification to the wording or map of the Plan can also be viewed under Proposed Modifications.
The detailed explanation for each recommendation made by the Inspector can be viewed in the Inspector's Report.
The Statement of Decisions and the list of decisions where the council does not accept the Inspector's recommendations were available for public inspection for a period of six weeks from 27 October to 8 December 2004. Representations on the Statement of Decisions and the list of decisions where the council does not accept the Inspector's recommendations were received until 8 December 2004.
Guidance Notes were issued at the time.
Representations were made in writing on the representation form. Guidance on making representation was included with the form.
Copies of the Statement of Decisions and list of decisions where the council does not accept the Inspector's recommendations were made available at ten deposit locations. Forms for writing representations on the Statement of Decisions were also available at each deposit location.
