Planning Applications/Development Control

The Planning Support Team answer general enquiries about the need for planning permission, give advice on what information is needed to make an application, application fees, whether properties are covered by conservation areas, tree preservation orders etc, send out forms and documentation. Please ask for the Planning Support Team if phoning us.

If you have a question about an individual application, please contact the planning officer dealing with the case in the first instance. Details of the planning officer for each application are shown on the application database along with their direct dial phone number.

The Borough is covered by two area teams, North and South. The Principal Planning Officers deal with the major development schemes and manage the two area teams. If you have a technical planning question when phoning, please ask for the duty planning officer or planning support.
