Workforce Information

The following key workforce information has been updated in line with the Local Government Group's Practitioner's Guide 'Transparency: Publication of Senior Salary Information' (November 2010) and local government transparency code (2014) issued by the department for Communities and Local Government.

This information will be updated at the end of each financial year in the interest of promoting local transparency.

 

Localism Act 2011 - Pay Policy Statement 2017/18

This pdf icon Pay Policy Statement [191KB] sets out the Council's position in relation to pay for its senior managers and lowest paid employees in compliance with the Localism Act 2011 (the Act) section 38 and the statutory and supplementary guidance on Openness and Accountability issued under section 40 of the Act.

The policy outlines the Council's approach to how it manages pay for its senior managers and also that of its lowest paid employees.

This is the sixth annual statement and covers the financial year, beginning 2017/18.

This Pay Policy is accompanied by pdf icon Appendix A [123KB] which gives the structure of the top four levels of the organisation.
