All public sector employers are required to annually publish calculations showing their gender pay gap.

From April 2017, under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017, all public sector employers are required to annually publish calculations showing their gender pay gap, based on data as at snapshot date of 31 March. Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council (WHBC) is therefore required by law to calculate and publish the organisations Gender Pay Gap.
