When finalising the Cuffley works programme, all residents and businesses were consulted in Station Road and Maynard Place with regards to any required changes in parking restrictions. The overall results showed no changes required for the existing parking bays, however to improve safety and traffic flow, it was proposed to change single yellow lines in the roads to double yellow lines.
To provide additional parking facilities, an enforceable disabled bay will be proposed closer to the pedestrian crossing area in Station Road, as well as changing the unused permit holders only bay near the junction of Lambs Close to match the parking provision elsewhere in Station Road to 30 minutes limited waiting.
April 2019: Cabinet Planning and Parking Panel recommended to proceed with the advertised parking restrictions and this was ratified at the Cabinet meeting on 2nd April. The traffic regulation orders was made and advertised on 17th April 2019, which can be found below with restrictions coming into effect on Monday 10th June 2019.
Feb 2019: One objection was received to the proposals relating to part of proposals in Brookside Crescent, a report has been prepared to be presented at Cabinet Planning and Parking Panel on Thursday 7th March 2019 and the Cabinet on Tuesday 2nd April 2019.
A letter and plan was sent to residents and businesses notifying of the advertisement of the Traffic Regulation Order in January 2019
The proposals was included in a Traffic Regulation order with Colesdale and Brookside Crescent.
