The council has introduced a Pay and Display system. You need to buy a ticket upon arrival and display on the dashboard, or you can pay via the Pay by Phone app, on-line paybyphone.co.uk or by calling 0800 546 0601.
30 minutes of free parking is available during public opening hours. Press the green button on the payment machines twice, one after another, to get your free parking ticket.
You are unable to receive a free 30 minute stay using the PayByPhone options as the 15p service charge would mean that the service is no longer free.
