The law says that graves cannot be sold for more than 100 years at any one time.
Exclusive Rights of Burial can though be renewed, allowing the rights to stay within the family.
We also offer ten year extensions to Exclusive Rights of Burial. These can be purchased at any point throughout the lease period. Please note these extensions cannot be collated at one time to allow the lease to extend beyond the legal limit of 100 years.
Renew Exclusive Rights of Burial
You can renew The Exclusive Right of Burial when its expires.
- Only the deed holder can submit and sign the renewal application. So it is important that the deed remains in possession of a living owner.
- Deeds can be transferred upon the death of the original deed holder.
