Closure of Small Business Grant Fund and Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grant Fund

We are in the final stages of the Covid-19 Small Business Grants Fund, the Retail, Hospitality & Leisure Grants Fund.

This will be closing on 28 August 2020.

As of 24 July 2020 we have paid out £14.975m to 1,112 businesses in the Welwyn Hatfield borough, helping support shops, cafes, hotels, restaurants and many other businesses.

The vast majority of eligible businesses have now claimed the grants they are entitled to. If you think that you are eligible, but have not yet been in touch with us, please make an application as soon as possible using the link below and subject to mandatory checks, you will receive your grant payment within a couple of weeks of contacting us.

Applying for a Business Support Grant (closes 28 August 2020)

If you are a business who does not pay by direct debit use the link below to request a business support grant if you think you are eligible.

Eligible ratepayers who pay by direct debit do not need to do anything as we already have your bank details and will be processing your payments as soon as we are able to.

To make a request for support, you need to supply the following information:

  • Business Rates Account Reference
  • Business name, address and contact information
  • Business bank account details
  • A copy of your latest business bank account statement
  • Your name
