There is lots going on for children and families at Mill Green Museum and the Roman Baths. This is especially true during school holidays when there are many drop-in workshops for children aged 4+.
School Holiday Activities
Activity times 10am, 11.15am, 1.15pm and 2.30pm. They last for one hour. No booking required, just come along, but please come at the start of the session as you'll need a full hour to make your creations. Suitable for age 4+. Children must have a parent or guardian on the premises at all times during their visit unless otherwise stated. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available from our Kenco drinks machine and free tap water is available to museum visitors during opening hours. Our Jubilee Garden makes an ideal venue to enjoy these or bring your own picnic and take a quiet break from the busy workday to enjoy the scents and peace of our garden. With limited parking at Mill Green, we encourage visitors to consider using the bus service - there is a bus stop at the top of the footpath that leads to Mill Green. It's better for the environment and children love catching a bus for a day out!
There are also activities at Welwyn Roman Baths.
