We understand that choosing a loved one's final resting place can be extremely daunting and emotional.
The Hyde Cemetery offers a variety of cremation plots to best stand as a remembrance for those who have passed away. Our Cemetery Brochure provides a detailed overview of all the options which are available. Unfortunately there are no new graves available for full burials.
Each cemetery has different regulations regarding what memorials are permitted. Full details can be found within our rules and regulations.
All memorials must be fitted by a NAMM (National Association of Memorial Masons) approved Stone Masonry company. A full list of NAMM approved masons can be found on the NAMM website.
It is important to note that the appropriate permit must be obtained before commencing any work for memorials, additional inscriptions or repairs.
Memorials on Traditional Graves
We permit a range of memorial options for traditional graves located at Hatfield Hyde Cemetery, including full grave sets. View burial and memorial fees.
The layout of Hatfield Hyde cemetery can present challenges to the preparation of a grave to be re-opened for a further interment. In order to access a plot, the Council may be required to temporarily move neighbouring grave sets. Great care will be taken when moving the memorials and they will be returned after the burial is complete.
