Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available from our Kenco drinks machine and free tap water is available to museum visitors during opening hours. Our Jubilee Garden makes an ideal venue to enjoy these or bring your own picnic and take a quiet break from the busy workday to enjoy the scents and peace of our garden.

Sunday and Bank Holiday Cream Teas

2.30 to 4.30pm

Easter Sunday until the 24 September

Our famous locally made cream teas are served with scones made on the premises from our own flour, a generous portion of jam and clotted cream and a nice cup of  Fairtrade tea. There is also a large selection of homemade cakes and cookies, we even have some gluten free! Teas are served by volunteers and all proceeds support the museum.

We're looking for more helpers to share this sociable, fun experience for just a few hours a month. If you want to help please see our Volunteering at the museums section for more details.

Please note that there will be no cream teas on Sunday 5 May, but they will be served from 2.30-4.30pm on Monday 6 May.
