Crisis and Resilience Fund

The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF)  aims to help residents access the right support before reaching a point of crisis.

If you are eligible, the fund can provide access to a range of support if you are:

• struggling to afford everyday essentials such as food, energy, and water
• experiencing sudden financial shocks (e.g. job loss, illness, unexpected costs)
• at risk of longer-term financial hardship.

Crisis and Resilience Fund Housing Payments

At Welwyn Hatfield we deal with the Crisis and Resilience Fund Housing Payments. 

If you get Housing Benefit or the Housing Cost element within your Universal Credit but still cannot pay your accommodation costs, you may be able to get help through our Housing Payment (HP).
