About your Business Rates
Business Rates, also known as Non-Domestic Rates are a tax on properties used for commercial purposes (for example, shops, factories and offices).
They are collected by local authorities to contribute towards the cost of local services
Normally the organisation or person using the property pays the Business Rates.
If your property is both domestic and non-domestic (such as a public house), part of it will be assessed for Business Rates and the other part for Council Tax.
