Consultation on the Estates Service Standard Policy and Communal Cleaning

We consulted with our council tenants and leaseholders on our Estate Service Standard Policy.

This introduces a set of standards to improve the quality and consistency of our estate management.

As part of these standards, we are considering introducing a cleaning service to internal communal areas, for all council-owned social housing blocks with shared spaces.

The consultation closed on Thursday 2 April.

Next steps

We will look at all responses to the consultation and take these into account before arranging a cleaning contract.
