Discount for Apprentices
If you are under 25 and doing an Apprenticeship you can get a Council Tax discount.
Apply using the Council Tax Apprentice Discount Form . You can also get this form from the Council Tax office.
Discount for Young people
School leavers do not have to pay Council Tax.
To qualify:
- you must be under 20
- have left school or college between 30 April and 1 November of the current year
- your parents our guardians must get Child Benefit for you.
You do not have enrol onto a course to qualify.
