Who pays Council Tax
Normally the person who lives in a property will have to pay Council Tax.
The first person who appears in the list below should pay:
- an owner occupier(s)
- a tenant or tenants
- a licensee
- someone who lives there with no security of tenure
Who doesn't need to pay Council Tax?
Some people and property types do not have to pay Council Tax, or can get a discount.
