Northaw and Cuffley Neighbourhood Plan - Referendum 4 May 2023
At their meeting on 16 February 2023, Cabinet Planning and Parking Panel agreed that subject to certain modifications, the Northaw and Cuffley Neighbourhood Plan should proceed to a referendum. This was approved by Cabinet on 7 March 2023 and Full Council on 15 March 2023.
The referendum was held on 4 May 2023. The result of the referendum was a majority ‘yes’ vote in favour of making the Northaw and Cuffley Neighbourhood Plan. The Neighbourhood Plan has now been made and is adopted as part of the Development Plan, which means that Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council will now use the Northaw and Cuffley Neighbourhood Plan to help it decide on planning applications in Northaw and Cuffley.
