Support for Ukraine

We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and the Ukrainian community in Welwyn Hatfield.

The Leader of the Council said: "We are horrified by Russia's actions in Ukraine and we stand in solidarity with all Ukrainian people.  This is the first time most of us will have witnessed such naked aggression in Europe and many of our communities will be deeply troubled.  Most of all, our thoughts are with our local Ukrainian community, and those across Hertfordshire and beyond, who are increasingly concerned about their family and friends at home."
