Hollybush North
A consultation for parking in Hollybush North began in February 2023.
It covered the northern section of the Ward including:
- Chequers
- Homestead Lane
- Hunters Way
Review Period
The parking restrictions started on Monday 3 March 2025, and a letter was sent to addresses to notify them of the start date.
A review feedback was available from 3 June 2025 until 3 September 2025.
The feedback received was assessed to see if any further adjustments can be made to the parking restrictions. The proposals are set out below.

Double Yellow Lines
Burrowfield:
Proposal introduced three sections of double yellow lines on the Southern kerbline of Burrowfield, two will between Southfield and East Burrowfield.
The third between East Burrowfield ending opposite West Burrowfield.
The placement of these lines took into account comments received regarding vehicles having limited vision when exiting and entering the Industrial Estate.
Two Acres:
Proposal introduced a short section of double yellow lines on the Southern kerbline of Two Acres, it took into account comments received regarding vehicles parking opposite the current double yellow lines.

Next steps - update July 2026
The objection stage has closed, the objections received have been read, and collated into a report that was presented to Cabinet Planning and Parking Panel (CPPP) on 24 June 2026 Agenda for Cabinet Planning and Parking Panel on Wednesday 24th June 2026, 7.30 pm
The Panel reached a unanimous decision to proceed with the restrictions as advertised. The start date of restrictions will be announced in due course, once procurement of signs/lines is complete and contractor's are ready to install. Letters will be sent to all roads affected.
