Background

A proposal was made on 28 January 2026 relating to 12 parking bays to be changed to 2 hours parking places Monday to Saturday 7am to 6pm no return within 4 hours.

As no objections were receieved, a executive member decision was published to proceed with the introduction of the new restrictions to 12 parking bays in Dog Kennel Lane Car Park.

The Traffic Regulation Order has been sealed, and the Notice of Making advertised on Wednesday 13 May 2026.

The new parking restrictions took effect on Monday 18 May 2026.

A consultation survey about parking changes in Dog Kennel Lane Car Park was held Monday 18 August 2025, and closed on Sunday 12 October 2025.

The feedback stage was held between December 2026 and 16 January 2026.
