Parking on Bank Holidays

Information about parking restrictions and charges on Bank Holidays.

Permit Zones

• Resident permit schemes are not enforced on Bank Holidays.
• You do not need to display or activate visitor vouchers.

Car Park Charges

• Charges apply at Sunday rates in council-operated car parks. Only Kennelwood Lane, Hatfield currently charges for parking on a Sunday.
• Check signage for specific tariffs.

Restrictions that still apply

The following restrictions remain in force 24 hours a day, including Bank Holidays and will still be enforced:

• double yellow lines 
• verge and footway parking prohibition
• Ddsabled bays (must display a valid Blue Badge) where indicated
• loading restrictions where indicated
