Welwyn Hatfield Council, in partnership with Blink Charging has introduced EV charging points across several car parks in the borough. We are continuing to expand this infrastructure, and further updates on locations and charger numbers will be published in due course.

Rules for using EV Bays

  • Vehicles must be actively charging while parked in a recharging-only bay.
  • EV bays are reserved for electric vehicles actively charging and only for the time limit shown on local signage.
  • Non-compliance may result in a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
