Whistle Blowing Policy

If staff are concerned that something wrong or dangerous is happening within the council, they can raise those concerns in confidence and without a fear of reprisals.

Our Whistleblowing Policy explains how employees, casual workers and agency staff can report instances of suspected wrongdoing.

It also explains the protections that will be provided to those that blow the whistle.

The policy is implemented by the Council's Monitoring Officer. It is regularly reviewed.
