All zones parking permits allow healthcare professionals and tradespeople to visit residents in on-street parking permit zones for work purposes.

All Zones Healthcare Parking Permit eligibility

This permit allows healthcare professionals to make home visits to residents in on-street parking permit zones.

This permit is for home visits only and cannot be used near your office or any fixed workplace. Parking is limited to a maximum of 2 hours.

When applying, you will need to provide a photo ID badge to show you work for the healthcare organisation.

Applicants must provide medical services to multiple residents in the borough and be regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

If your organisation's name does not appear on our permit system contact us so we can check you are eligible and add you to our system.

This permit allows tradespeople to visit residents in on-street parking permit zones for work purposes.

You should be providing a service to multiple residents within the Borough.

Please note, we do not issue visitor vouchers to trades, and only householders are eligible to buy visitor vouchers.

You will need:

a headed letter confirming the organisation you work for, stating what the permit is required for
proof the vehicle is registered/insured to you under business class insurance. We utilise this to also ensure eligibility that the vehicle is being used for correct business purposes.

Follow the steps below:

click on 'Apply for a permit'
for Healthcare permit: select 'I am a Community Medical Healthcare Provider', for Business permit: select 'Business parking - on street'
choose 'All Zones – Healthcare Permit' or "All Zones - Business Permit" from the Street Name section
select your organisation’s name from the 'Property (for business permit, simply select "All Permit Zones" from this box
enter the postcode and click “search”
complete the rest of application and then make the payment

Parking in on-street resident permit zones for home medical or trade visits within Welwyn Hatfield.

Parking outside Welwyn Hatfield.
Parking in car parks, private roads, yellow lines, verges, footways, or time-limited bays.
Parking at your usual workplace (e.g., office or surgery).
Transporting patients.
