Housing Ombudsman Service
The Housing Ombudsman Service is a fair and impartial service which was set up by law to look at complaints about housing organisations. The service is free of charge to all residents in social housing.
Before you contact the Housing Ombudsman Service
Before contacting the Housing Ombudsman Service about an issue with your council home or leasehold follow the steps below:
- the first step should be to contact us, you can report a repair to us or find more support in our Tenant and Leaseholder Hubs
- if you are not satisfied with how we have dealt with the issue you can then make a complaint to us
If you have followed our complaint process and the issue has not been resolved, you can then bring a complaint to the Housing Ombudsman Service for investigation.
