Right to Buy

Selling your leasehold property

If you are thinking about selling your leasehold property, we strongly recommend that you ask us for a sell-on pack. This is also known as an assignment pack or pre-assignment enquiries, and your solicitor will normally ask us for one for you. The sell-on pack includes important information about the property that your buyer will want to know, including:

  • statements of the last three years’ service charges;
  • setails of money you owe for service charges and major works;
  • setails of planned major works;
  • major works we have not charged you for yet.

There is a £125 charge for a sell-on pack. We can only give it to you or a solicitor. Your solicitor should write to us and ask for a sell on pack. Once we’ve received their request and payment, we will send them the pack by email and post a copy to your solicitor within 10 days.
