Council Tax scams

There are reports of scams claiming to offer Council Tax refunds, Council Tax Support, or payment reductions.

They ask for card or bank details to send the refund to.

Some scams ask for an urgent payment through a website that is not ours.

These are not genuine.

There are also misleading websites charging for services, you can do easily and for free on our website, such as updating your Council Tax details.
