Parking permits for students
If you are a student living in a restricted parking area and need to park on the highway during restriction hours, you can apply for a resident parking permit
You will need to provide both:
- Proof of residence (e.g., tenancy agreement, utility bill)
- Proof of vehicle (V5C or insurance schedule showing permit address)
Permits are only available to students whose vehicle is registered or insured at their term-time address within a permit zone.
There is no discount for students.
The cost of the permit will depend on if any other residents in the same property have also purchased a permit.
