Your garden waste compost bin (brown bin) will only be emptied if you have subscribed to the garden waste service.

There is a £35 annual subscription charge for brown bin collections.

What you can put in your brown bin

Ash (wood)Bark
Biodegradable / compostable bags (must have the seedling logo).Branches (cut up)

What you cannot put in your brown bin

Cardboard of any kindShredded Paper
Plastics including carrier bagsPet bedding or waste from meat eating pets
Soil or turf
